The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a
- Flood Warning for:
Jackson County in south central Michigan
- Until 915 AM EDT Sunday.
- At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain which are causing flooding in Jackson. MDOT reports
Interstate 94 is closed at exit 141 due to water on the highway.
Up to three inches of rain have already fallen and additional rain
may fall overnight.
- Some locations which could experience flooding tonight include:
Jackson, Vandercook Lake, Brooklyn, Grass Lake, Leoni, Spring
Arbor, Napoleon, Sandstone, Norvell, Pulaski, Concord, Horton,
Springport, Parma, Hanover, Oak Point, Topkins, Rives Junction,
Sunset Beach and Michigan Center.
