The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
- Special Marine Warning for:
Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20
- Until 1030 AM EDT.
- At 952 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located over Belky Bear, moving north at 35 knots.
HAZARD: Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.
IMPACT: Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Belky Bear, Myrtle Beach Rock and Myrtle Beach.
