San Diego: Two Scheduled Events Today

Living in San Diego is living the dream. California’s second largest city (and United State’s eighth largest) seems to be almost perpetually bathed in sun and perfect weather, Surfing, eating of just talking a stroll in historic Balboa Park, there is always something to experience. The city is brimming with beer micro breweries, and has a rich history to explore. Today, we take a look at the events that are more ‘local’, like farmers markets or art exhibitions. Sunday Jan 13: 2019 Hillcrest Farmers’ Market (Sundays)

This farmer’s market in Hillcrest offers an array of groceries and goodies. Featured items include fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood, dairy products, dry goods, prepared foods, and specialty treats. There are also art & craft items, jewelry, and clothing. Come and shop!
At 9:00 AM on Sunday, an expected 3000 people will attend this event at 3690 Normal Street . It is hosted by Hillcrest Business Association. It is scheduled to end at 2:00 PM.
