The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a
- Tornado Warning for:
Southeastern Sherman County in the Panhandle of Texas
Western Hansford County in the Panhandle of Texas
- Until 915 PM CDT.
- At 843 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 4 miles northwest of Sunray, or 16 miles north of
Dumas, moving northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
