The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for Lamb, TX; Bailey, TX; Parmer, TX starting on 2019/05/26 18:50. This event has already been observed and the event is categorized as ‘extreme.’

The best action to take according to NWS is to take shelter during this event. To repeat, a large, extremely dangerous and potentially deadly tornado is developing. The National Weather Service in Lubbock Texas has issued a

  • Tornado Warning for:
    Bailey County in northwestern Texas
    Southwestern Parmer County in the Panhandle of Texas
    West central Lamb County in northwestern Texas
  • Until 915 PM CDT.
  • At 849 PM CDT, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located
    8 miles northwest of Causey, or 16 miles southeast of Portales,
    moving northeast at 30 mph.

    This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

    HAZARD Damaging tornado.

    SOURCE Radar indicated rotation.

    IMPACT You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris
    may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile
    homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
    businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete
    destruction is possible.

    Muleshoe, Sudan, Needmore, Progress, Oklahoma Lane, Lariat and West
    Camp.
