NASDAQ Drags Down S&P 500 Index And DOW As Markets Drop

NASDAQ Close Down 63.41 Points

The market finished lower for all three major indices, as NASDAQ saw a drop of 0.78%, closing at 8098.38 dragging S&P 500 Index and DOW down with it. S&P 500 Index closed down 0.48% at 2975.95, while DOW closed at 26806.14, down 0.43%.

Market Sectors

The market sectors were mixed Monday with a majority of the sectors trending down. Real Estate saw the biggest increase of the day (0.37%), while the Materials sector saw the biggest drop (-1.06%). Information Technology has seen the biggest year-to-date gain of 28.93%.

Materials and Communication Services both saw turn-arounds from their five day positive performances with Materials dropping -1.06%.
