Indices stable with NASDAQ up 43.35 points
NASDAQ closed trading at 8141.73, up 0.54%, while S&P 500 Index traded higher, up 0.12%, ending the day at 2979.63. Meanwhile, DOW went down 0.08% finishing at 26783.49.
The market sectors were mixed Tuesday with a majority of the sectors trending up. Real Estate saw the biggest increase of the day (0.52%), while the Materials sector saw the biggest drop (-1.01%). Information Technology has seen the biggest year-to-date gain of 27.99%.
Energy saw the biggest turn-around compared to its 5-day performance (-0.84%), as it went up by 0.08%. Consumer Staples saw a turn-around from its 5-day performance of 2.36% trading down -0.58%.
